We went from being Georgia Peaches and Dawgs to being Sunflowers, Jayhawks and Wildcats then to the great Cowboys of Wyoming. (We haven’t picked a university here to pull for…is there another university besides THE University of Georgia and the SEC????) We made The Move on March 28, 2011 to south central Kansas. In October of 2013 we made another big move to north central Wyoming. This blog is to inform people of our happens’ here in the west.

Spring Activities: March through May

Feeding cows
Calving
Calf vaccination
Preparing irrigation systems-putting pipe out, repairing pipe, flushing systems
Irrigation-center pivots, flood irrigation, gated pipe
Ranch maintenance-snow removal, roads, corrals, buildings

Summer Activities: busiest times of the year from June through August

Winter Activities: December through February

Some cattle work-moving to winter pastures, feeding, water systems,
